  • World Osteoporosis Day : H.E. MOH Dr.Hamad Al Manea announced the first official Saudi Campaign against osteoporosis which will last for 6 months sharing with the international community this important public health issue.

Nutrition announced as theme of World Osteoporosis Day 2006
World Osteoporosis Day 2006 will focus on the role of nutrition in bone health. Under the theme ‘Bone Appetit’, IOF and its member societies will carry out varied campaigns to raise awareness of the importance of healthy, calcium-rich nutrition at all ages.
